An unexpected Journey was one of the most anticipated movies of 2012 and next to The Dark Knight Rises and Avengers Assemble, the first instalment of the Hobbit trilogy went to make over a billion dollars world wide.
It's sequel made just around the same amount. However, where they good? Yes! I love an unexpected journey and the desolation of Smaug very much! But was the final chapter in the middle earth saga just what I expected? Indeed, my expectations for The Battle of the five armies were not just met but exceeded!
