A beautifully made movie, despite deviating off of the book even further, though that should not discount it. Engaging performances by the leads and exhilarating action make this an excellent ending for the trilogy.
I was let down however, by the sheer amount of CGI, especially when creating the battles. It felt a little Transformer-esque, and seemed pretty lazy due to Jackson's previous work with LOTR.
