A spectacular envisioning of the killing of Smaug and the Battle of Five Armies and some nice acting performances (especially Thorin, Bilbo, and Bard). It definitely feels like a war movie, rather than an adventure.
If you enjoy war movies, this is one of the best fantasy war films ever. Loved it, despite the over-the-top Legolas scenes and some divergence from the book.
