Painfully disappointing. I am an absolute fan of the LOTR lore be it the books or the movies but this one I didn't even bother downloading. The plot is thin, stretched out like to little jam on a big piece of bread.
What as added to the story is to much trying to make the movie a grand spectacle with legolas fan service and pointless love stories to try and lure in as much public as possible. A washed out and bloated version of the book.
It made me sad coming out of the theater.
