Review of The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies (2014) by Uriel G — 23 Mar 2017
In technical details as much as script and sequence is a disaster, exaggerating some of the resources used in both the previous films and The Lord of the Rings and giving more protagonism to characters without meaning than the same protagonist.
The only redeemable is the performance of Martin Freeman as Bilbo, always good and adequate, and the fact that this director will never put a hand in Tolkien's work.
Peter Jackson shows us with this film how fed up he is to making Middle-earth movies.
