Review of The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies (2014) by Fernando José G — 04 Jun 2016
Making a trilogy of prequels based one book was always going to be a risky move and the final part is expected to deliver an epic ending to end it all and in a way it does but it doesn't fit in with the first two, It's fast paced and is just pure battle scenes, It's just like The Return Of The King except not as gripping and full of CGI, As for the battle scenes they were pretty good but never tries anything new, I cant comment on the 3D as I watched the 2D version but I think it might of been a little better, It's a fitting end to our long trips to Middle Earth that some people will love and others will be left wondering if it could of been better, Deep down I hope its not the end as it's sad to see it all end but if they left us wanting more than they have done their job well I guess, Don't miss it.
