Martin Freeman makes for a fantastic Bilbo and the casting for the film is well done. The inclusion of the romantic development between Tauriel and Kili is a welcome addition to the storyline that offers a change of pace.
Although purists may not necessarily appreciate Peter Jackson's liberty with the film, it in no way detracts from the story.
