Review of The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies (2014) by Collin T — 11 Aug 2015
The Hobbit series doesn't hold a candle to the original LotR trilogy, but it has to be respected for being well done and visually beautiful. It will always be looked at kind of like how the Star Wars prequel movies are, but just like them, they are worth watching at least once, especially if you're a fan of the original trilogy.
I do enjoy Battle of the Five Armies more than the first two Hobbit movies, but seeing that I wasn't a big fan of either, that's not that big of a compliment.
