For those who have read the book, you should know that the main climax ends about 11 minutes into this 2.5 hour film.
Filled with a lot of nonsensical action involving a lot of unfamiliar and forgettable characters, this third part in an unnecessary trilogy merely brings home the point that Peter Jackson has managed to "George Lucas" himself with the Lord of the Rings.
