Review of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012) by Russell Q — 26 Nov 2014
Fantastic movie! Finally! Peter Jackson made another Middle-Earth movie. It been years since the last Lord of the Rings movie. Now Peter Jackson has made a very entertaining prequel. The story is about Bilbo Baggins, who goes on a journey to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor, which was conquered by a huge dragon named Smaug.
He goes on his quest with Gandalf the Grey, and a bunch of dwarves, who are led by Thorin Oakenshield. They end up in the Lonely Mountain where Bilbo meets the creature that will change his life: Gollum.
Then he sees a shocking surprise: Gollum's "precious" ring that can put the fate of Middle-Earth in many ways. The Hobbit has great visuals, great costumes, great production design, and great director Peter Jackson, and all of the other stuff that makes it entertaining like the LOTR Trilogy!
