Review of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012) by Sandy K — 27 Jun 2016
It's a must-see film for fans of Jackson's Lord of the Rings trilogy, and it's well done in so many ways; but LONG (close to 3 hours), and a bit ridiculous to take Tolkein's "The Hobbit" (one book) and make it into a film trilogy.
And did I mention that this one is LONG?
