Review of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012) by Wes S — 08 Sep 2016

The first entry is the stretch cash-grab Hobbit trilogy is probably the most faithful to the book, but it's still a bumpy road. This one is more whimsical than any of the Lord of the Rings movies, with more humor and musical bits, but it adds to the fantasy element.

Overall, there's plenty of fun, great effects, and a solid cast, but it's going to be a long ride.
