Review of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012) by Eric F — 16 Feb 2017

Although it doesn't add nearly as much length to the film (only about 23 minutes or so) as the X-Edits of the original trilogy, it adds more flavor to the Rivendell scenes as well as Bilbo's introductory monologue at the opening of the film and even more musical songs have been added to this version, particularly one hilarious number involving the Goblin King and his minions, as far as singing goes.

.. well let's just say this Goblin King is not the David Bowie you're familiar with.
