Review of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012) by The A — 24 Jan 2015
The Hobbit: An unexpected Journey starts off our completely expected journey back into Middle Earth relatively acceptably. While admittedly the pace is sluggish at times and some scenes seem a bit unnecessary, this 2 hour and 50 minute long film is positively boasting with dazzling special effects and talented cast members.
While it may not be on par with the Lord of the Rings movies just yet, Unexpected Journey provides us with scenes that stand out on their own, definitive to the "prequel trilogy".
