This movie is a great interpretation of the book. It was interesting how they included the appendices as part of the film instead of devoutly following the book. Most of the scenes that weren't in the book came from the appendices or were an interpretation of them.

This tale follows Bilbo Baggins, a hobbit used to the comfort of a well off life, on the beginning of a long and dangerous journey to reclaim the lost dwarf kingdom of Erebor.
