Review of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012) by Griffin D — 23 May 2015
Although the acting is outstanding, and the flashforward to Frodo still at Bagg end didn't hurt, the in-you-face references to the original trilogy and the not so great CGI and the not-so-great script weighs down what could have been a worthy followup to the original trilogy.
