The extended version has some extra scenes in it that really excited the geek in me! Especially at Rivendale when... filli? (The younger beardless dwarf with dark hair) is checking out the elven lasses so hilarious and cross race fan girl moment.
.. Anyways loved it despite its straying from the book.
