I was blown away by this movie when I saw it in the cinema.... especially Thorin ! It was my first experience of 3D and was definitely convinced that it added significantly to the experience. The final scenes from the blazing trees and the eagle rescue to that moment when Thorin hugs Bilbo and catches sight of the Lonely Mountain will stay in my memory forever !
