Review of The Hobbit (1977) by Taylor B — 21 Jun 2008
The Hobbit is my favorite children's book, and I hated what this movie did to it. I think the bad music is what killed it for me, but there were several other issues I had with this film (the dwarves over sized foreheads, the spiders possession of beards and eyebrows, and the Keebler elves' inhabitance of Mirkwood).
Just....not a great movie....
