Review of The Hoax (2006) by Jd T — 30 Mar 2008
Gotta love the seventies because people got away with some crazy scams. Here is one that I didn't know about. I don't know why Clifford Irving couldn't call his book an autobiography but he went for the bogus biography.
What was interesting is how his research gave him some insight to the man who was a true enigma, Howard Hughes. A great cast and a great scam made for a decent film. However, I was happy that I didn't go to the theater to see this.
