Review of The Hoax (2006) by James-Masaki R — 30 Mar 2011
The true story of Clifford Irving's claim to have been writing the autobiography of Howard Hughes with the recluse together is so good to be true, that it was. It was one of the biggest hoaxes ever in the recent world, and also a great movie covering the paraoia, the lying, the swindling, and the comedy of the whole thing.
Lasse Hallstrom and Richard Gere brilliantly recreate this incredible story, to be seen to be believed... or not. ..
