Review of The Hoax (2006) by Matt M — 01 Apr 2013
Richard Gere stars as Clifford Irving, an author who in this story based on true events tries his luck at a huge literary hoax when he tried to get a fake autobiography of Howard Hughes published. The overall result of this film is very entertaining, thanks to its fast pace and good script based on Irving's own memoirs but also the leading man himself who turns in an excellent performance.
