Review of The Hitman's Bodyguard (2017) by David O — 18 Aug 2017

While the tone of the movie is all over the place, enthusiastic performances from Jackson, Reynolds and Hiyak does give you a smile throughout this movie. Much of the humour and gags throughout the movie do work and the action set pieces are fun and sometimes impressive.

The political side of the movie is misplaced along with the more goofy comedy moments however the script does a good job of linking our two leads together and give them weight. Jackson is hilarious with a showcase of expressions and styles he can access, while Reynolds pulls in more of his run of the mill performance.
