Review of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (2005) by Melinda Y — 24 May 2012

I was nervous about this movie, especially since most of it was produced after Douglas Adams' death. However, its spirit is true to the books, although too much of the brilliant quirkiness and hilarious descriptions are lost in the translation and much of its humor would probably be hard to grasp without knowing the books.

Very well done, funny, quirky, smart, and an excellent homage to Adams.
