Review of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (2005) by Emeka W — 19 Aug 2013
Doug just can't seem to catch a break, with his home and his planet (Earth) being destroyed almost simultaneously for nearly identical purposes, one obviously on a bit more galactic scale.
He is lucky enough to have an oblivious alien friend living near him who saves him from the demolishing of Earth by taking him hitchhiking through the galaxy. Hilarity ensues on a small scale and problems are abundant.
This movie would sit well with younger SciFi fans, given its funny nature and general sillyness. More serious, older SciFi fans might not find it as entertaining. I'm not exactly sure what the target demographic for this one was...
Alright movie but a little too silly for my tastes.
