Review of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (2005) by Kelsey K — 16 Nov 2012
The 1st time I watched this, I found myself getting bored with it. 2nd time around there was a repeat of my brain zoning out. Even when I read the book before both viewings, I struggled to share the general enthusiasm for the book.
And previous to that, I never took to the TV series. I can see the genius in it, for sure. I can see the inventiveness doubled up with off the wall humour. I understand everything that is surreal about this, but I just have to say, 'i'm not quite sure if it's for me' I love Sci-fi, and outer space movies, but I don't think I am able to appreciate comedy in space.
And that I think is my problem. Everything is just too damn random.
