C. Thomas Howell was great in this movie. The whole movie was just great there's really nothing good about the re-make. To me the romance gets in the way of what all is REALLY happening. Rutger Hauer did a great job as John Ryder, The Hitcher.
This is just the best movie I've ever seen and I think it will always be.
