Review of The Hitcher (1986) by Ian B — 05 Jan 2010
Horror/Action/Western/Suspense... Everything you need in a movie. Imagine Terminator meets Kalifornia with more suspense and impossible but believable situations than you have ever seen. The budget seemed larger than most horror and action films from the 80's, with exploding helicopters and wild car chases.
The cinematography was very original and artistic for the genre too. I haven't been this engaged during a movie for a long time. I don't know why I took so long to see it, but it is worth owning because it is by far a classic with replay value.
