Review of The History Boys (2006) by Kate G — 16 Jan 2008
Definitely reminiscent of Dead Poets Society. The beginning was slow and dragged in the abundance of liberal arts references that were quite frankly very snobbish. It got better though and became more relevant.
I loved the powerful feminist speech, and it was very important to have the smirks at the end of it... the equivalent of ::slap:: shut up hoe, men are learning! In the words of my boyfriend: homosexual.
.. indeed, profoundly so. But still good, in fact a great movie.
