Review of The History Boys (2006) by Chewith I — 07 Apr 2008

The music was amazing, whoever put together the soundtrack needs an award or something. Also, it really did feel like 1983, so kudos to the director. Ok, not to the actual movie... The first hour is kinda dull.

I really liked all the characters, very intelligent, mature, and caring young men. But they were kinda empty for me. Then, a bomb is dropped that kinda turns the film in a direction that I didnt see it going.

But, when I thought all was lost, the story pulled me in. The ending of this movie was so well done, and so well acted, that at this moment I cant think of a better scripted ending to a movie. Dont miss this film!
