Review of The History Boys (2006) by Edmund C — 13 May 2008

I found it rather boring, and even though the endless play of words and wits were somewhat clever and fast paced, it couldn't hold my interest throughout the whole movie (not to mention the french speaking scene was quite long and I could only pick few words here and there, sheesh.

.). Rubbing in the homosexual references in the end wasn't helping either, on the contrary I felt it only shattered the outcome, almost like desperately trying to drag in at the final minutes some sensation on the otherways quite dull movie.

Overall rather pointless flick and not going anywhere.
