If I had to describe it in one short phrase, this movie is untruthfully clever. theater actors as they may be, these boys - nay, men capture the essence of their characters in even small facial tics...
brilliant film adaptation of a liberal yet poignantly conservative play by alan bennett (who's a bloody genius!) the ending too is touching. and includes lots of historical trivia for lorelli and gibbons kids.
