Review of The History Boys (2006) by Zq O — 25 Jul 2008
Wow... Completely not what I thought it was going to be. Half the time I was thinking "What the hell is this?!" [With certain words changed around] and the other half of me was telling that half to shove it because I actually enjoyed it.
I was a bit taken by surprise [to say the least] when certain plotlines unfolded... but the intellectual philosophical moments were sort of like finely woven gold throughout. Makes you question what exactly history and logic is in a modernly unconventional way.
I must say though, that Andrew Knott sure is a looker.
