Review of The History Boys (2006) by Cheryl C — 06 Dec 2008

This film never breaks the level of mildly interesting. You don't really get to know the characters, none of the themes in this movie are brought out to the forefront. It's irritating because this film has so much potential, always hinting at something but never articulating it.

The synopsis will tell you what it's supposed to be about, but when it say's these are apples, it really means it is apple flavored oatmeal. It's not about "how education works," it just implies that theme several times throughout the movie.
