I thoroughly enjoyed this film. Richard Griffiths and Frances De La Tour were a delight; their acting was superb. Yes, some of the subject matter is controversial - this film harks back to the slightly-more-innocent times of the early 80s.
But the characterisations are a marvel, the cast are endearing, and the story is uplifting, thought-provoking and the ending was nicely balanced and beautifully wrapped. Recommended.
