Review of The History Boys (2006) by T P — 21 Nov 2010
A really well acted (the actors have been performing the play for over 3 years) film adaption of Alan Bennett's successful play about a group of English 'high school' boys preparing to get into Oxford and Cambridge (aka Oxbridge).
The script deftly interweaves some major themes such as teaching styles, the definition of history, and homosexuality (in adults and transitional adolescence).
