Review of The Hills Have Eyes (2006) by Ifiok O — 05 Oct 2010
It's surprisingly one of the better horror movie remakes out there, although Wes Craven's original cult classic did a better job giving us a glimpse into the family dynamic when one compares the two families to each other.
There is some of the film maker's own unique subtext with the nuclear testing, and it provides much more brutality than in the original. It's definitely not for those who are easily squeamish.
