Review of The Hills Have Eyes (2006) by Enrica C — 20 Feb 2010
When I first saw the trailer for the Hills Have Eyes, it seemed like it could possibly be a good remake. I was disappointed once again. The film moved slow from the very beginning and had no dialogue to support it. I also felt that the acting was a little off considering the tonality of the film. The film does not display anything we haven't seen before, even though it is a remake, we seem to see the same situations and same reaction within every known Horror movie to come out within the past few years. I will say as the movie progressed, it got more and more gruesome and horrifying (the rape scene). The Hills Have Eyes is predictable and tries to use gore to make up its mediocrity.
