Review of The Hills Have Eyes (2006) by Dru D — 18 Mar 2010

A rare occurrence in which a horror remake actually turned out pretty damn good. This movie was brutal and disturbing. You really wanted to track down those "hill" people and beat them to death after watching what they did to the family.

And you do get the ultimate satisfaction towards the end. Very good stuff, I enjoyed this more than the original. There were however those stupid moments that are in virtually every horror movie, where the characters act just plain stupid.

But despite that I really did enjoy this movie, and like I said it's one of the better horror remakes out there. Definitely worth a watch.
