Review of The Hills Have Eyes (2006) by David L — 01 Apr 2012
A 5-Star Classic! A film that defines horror in itself and gives us an edge of your seat thriller packed with gore, action, decent acting, intensity, and a somewhat believable storyline. Alright, so being hijacked by mutated freaks in the middle of the desert is not your everyday definition of reality, but this film Isn't far-fetched enough to include superhuman, or a seemingly indestructible psychopaths - it's just a solid tale of good encounters bad in a battle to the end.
It gets straight into the action from the very first scene, and it's a relentless barrage of action right to the bitter end. It leaves no stone left unturned, and we're not left wondering what the hell just happened.
Simply put, this film went a long way in developing my interest and increasing affixation with horrors, which is probably its only down point really!
