Review of The Hills Have Eyes (2006) by James W — 11 Sep 2012
Heavy on gore but that's what's needed, it really shows the merciless nature of these cannibalistic creatures. The violence does go beyond what I've seen in film, plenty of stabbing, burning, gushing blood and slashing, but all this will satisfy slasher horror film fans (like me) Although it lacks on shocks completely.
It starts out as a bit of a drama, then eventually unfolds into a barrage of thrills and descends into a bloody cut throat horror, I would recommend this just because of the sheer terror and also because it's a great remake of the Wes Craven classic.
