This remake really took me by surprise. I'm not going to say it's a good remake, because I've not seen the original. It's a great film though. The characters are interesting, despite not being told much about them, and focusing heavily on the violence it's very entertaining.
It's quite frightening at points. Well written, Well acted and great use of effects and suspense. .
