Without having seen Wes Cravens original, this movie was presented to me with a slighly slow beggining that quickly ramps up to some significant carnage and some truly horryfying moments. It doesnt do too much besides that as the story and pace are all pretty simplistic even though efective.
Somewhat cliché and monotonous, but it has plenty of moments that kept me interested in this take on a classic I have not dared to see.
