I would've given it a 10 if it were more realistic....maybe more character development for the mutants would've done it....the character development for the family was very good and oh so shocking and terrifying when they are brutally slaughtered.
..my friend cried throughout the film, not because she was scared, but because she found herself connected to the main characters...i was literally on the edge of my seat.
