Review of The Hills Have Eyes (2006) by Molly S — 28 Feb 2010

The Hills Have Eyes makes it onto my all time list, because it is so disgusting, gory, and uncomfortable to watch. This is one movie I have only watched twice and both times were extremely difficult. I like this movie because it truly does a good job at creating an atmosphere and preying on our own fears.

I mean, how many times has your car broken down in the most inconvientent place or you've gotten lost in the wrong part of town? That's what this movie does, it puts you in this position. I have to admit, its a little grand and somewhat more gory than I think it should be, but this is one horror movie, no matter how hard it is to watch, it remains in my mind and I don't think I could ever forget.
