One of the best remakes of horror movies. People giving it a bad rating or calling it "torture porn" (the movie doesn't even involve nudity) are just buying into a nonsensical and 'politically correct' view on modern gore.
Comparing to the original, the remake has groundbreakingly good special effects, better acting, a smoother plot with additional good ideas and gripping soundtracks.
