This is a really awesome movie. It was absolutely fantastic to see how the suspense was built up and how having a minimal budget, Wes Craven was able to utilize camera techniques to built up the thrills and raw suspense.
The shots outdoors, particularly those early on, like the way the camera jilts and moves off was very simple but highly effective.
