I could listen to Sam Elliott all day. I could watch him perform in this movie for about 45 minutes. Unfortunately, unless you're an Elliott completist, the overdone story and useless supporting cast leave this a mess.
I can't get over how one note Laura Prepon is. She's not ready for large roles in movies. Elliott, however is good as always, no matter how weak the and overdone the subject matter is. Final Score: 4.
