What an extraordinary movie! It shows the little and huge infernos humans bring upon themselves for lack of tolerance! It's not a movie just about being white or being black, being rich or poor, being a master or a servant.
It's about history, customs, cooking and writing but also about passion for a project, fear, courage, loyalty, sisterhood, children, women, illness, injustice, vindication, abuse, love, friendship.
.. all of these impacted by your upbringing and the lessons life throws at you!
