Does the fact my stepfather gave this to me as a gift have any reflection on our relationship? No matter, this story of a father's contempt for his dowdy, awkward daughter is one of my all time favorites.
William Wyler may have been one of the most hated directors in Hollywood, but damn, he was a genius. And as for Montgomery Clift...does anybody play a sexy skunk better than this man?
